Shifu Zhe

Name: Zhang Zhe
Birthplace: Taipei city, Taiwan
Favourite styles: Fanzi Quan (lightning fist), Shi Shan Quan (Stone mountain style), Qin Na 72 (72 methods of seize and control).

Shifu Zhe competed in a variety of competitions, both national and international and holds a wide array of titles. He is best known for winning the full league tournament held in Taiwan. Specialising not only in traditional styles but also Sanda(full contact), Qin Na (joint locking) and modern competition routines, he teaches the advanced syllabus at the Oxford Taiji Gongfu Institute. Shifu Zhe holds both a Bachelor and Master degrees of science; he currently works fulltime in the technology industry and attributes much of his drive and energy to Chinese Wushu. The study of Wushu is not simply the science of fighting; rather it is a method of self-cultivation.
